Want to achieve your best skin? Well we have three easy life style changes that you can implement to attain your best results. Remember the 21/90 Rule; it takes 21 days to develop a habit and 90 days to cultivate a life style. Be patient, stay consistent, and prosper; keeping your end goal in mind!

First, you want to be sure to drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day. Water is key to detoxing not just ones' body but skin. Hydration is crucial for healthy glowing skin, between consuming our daily dose(s) of coffee, tea, energy drinks, juices, and smoothies to keep us going through out the day. How many of us can say that we make sure we drink the recommended 8 glasses a day? I pride myself on choosing water over other beverages when presented with other options, even I struggle to reach my 8 glasses a day. To assist with developing a water loving habit, we recommend you have a reusable water bottle with you through out the day and try to drink the entire bottle every hour through out the work or school day. You will definitely notice more frequent trips to the washroom, but over time you will notice that your water intake should increase and your skin will start clearing up.

Water is your best friend

Second, taking care of what is going on inside that gut of yours. Let me ask you this; when you are running late and have not eaten, are you always making healthy conscious food choices? I know it can be a challenge finding something quick, healthy, and on the spot. The best way to combat that is to meal prep for the week. You want to try and incorporate dark leafy greens, a variety of vegetables and fruits, add-in ancient grains such as quinoa and amaranth to replace rice, definitely include more fiber like chia seeds to help flush your system out and small portions of meat or dairy or none at all. The better you feed your gut the better your body can work on repairing itself. When the gut is out of alignment it begins sending warning signs, unfortunately, through break outs, flare ups, and acne. All things that we dread, especially when you are working so hard to take care of your skin. A healthy gut equals healthier skin!

Eat more than your daily serving of fresh vegetables

Finally, establishing a safe skin care routine. Why do I say safe? Many of us if we read the back of most of our skin care cleansers, serums, and toners do not know what some of those ingredients are let alone pronounce them. Well some of those ingredients are detrimental to your skins overall health.
